Bizarre News

In an incredible turn of events, America's new President has decided to enforce a trade embargo and ban on travel to Canada! He did not provide a reason for this action, but said that the decision was made at the end of the first GW Bush administration over 4 years ago. Unfortunately, it seems that somebody just dropped the ball and no one was informed of this action. Whoever it was (they're not saying) must have had a good reason back then, but we don't know all the details now. Nevertheless, it was a valid decision and it must be enforced. Actually, the original decision made an exception for Windsor, Ontario, due to its special relationship with Detroit. However, the Canadians do not seem to be willing to cooperate with American conditions on even that limited arrangement. America has simply asked that, if any US citizens show up in a Canadian emergency room, the hospital is to refuse them service and tell them that they need to go to American hospitals. Canada has refused. America's government really has no choice. It's time to move on.

Of course this is just a fable. Many of you who read this are not from the greater Church of God, and you might as well skip this post. For those who are interested, I have recently experienced a sequence of events eerily similar to the story above.
